Pemilihan Supplier Rubber Parts Dengan Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process Di PT.XYZ


Abstrak
Dalam menghadapi dunia industri manufaktur yang semakin kompetitif, diperlukan pemilihan supplier yang tepat guna untuk menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas dengan harga yang bersaing. Hal ini menuntut para produsen untuk melakukan efisiensi. Pemilihan supplier merupakan salah satu cara untuk melakukan efisiensi dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa kepentingan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pemilihan supplier yang ideal pada komponen rubber dengan menggunakan metode AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) dengan tiga faktor kriteria yang dianggap penting oleh perusahaan yaitu faktor produksi(48%), kualitas(40%), dan harga(12%). Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini menunjukkan supplier TRHI dengan bobot nilai terbesar 51,6% dibanding supplier lainnya seperti IKP(24,8%) dan IRC(23,6%). The Application of Six Sigma in Process Control of Raw Water Quality on Pharmaceutical Industry at Indonesia

Abstract
Quality is one of the important keys in the pharmaceutical industry in order to face and win the competition. Instability in the water treatment process causes the water quality does not comply with quality standards. This study aimed to evaluate the water treatment process in the pharmaceutical industry, to investigate the cause of the case out of specification (OOS) and propose improvements through application of six sigma method. The object of this research done on some parameters of water generated in the water treatment process, such as pH, conductivity and total plate count. Stages of procedures performed in this study included analysis of data normality, control chart analysis and determine the process capability. Minitab software also used to assist in the calculation and analysis. The results showed the improvement process provide a significant change with the increase in the average an index of Capability Process around 1.07 and decrease the possibility of producing a defective system of about 712 ppm. Furthermore, the study also indicates an increase in the sigma level from 2.30 into 4.69.

Penilaian Kinerja Karyawan dengan Metode AHP dan Rating Scale

 Abstract
PT. X organizes the office promotion every year, however it has not implemented the performance appraisal concept. This study was conducted on junior analyst at Laboratory Department of Routine Test in PT.X which has the highest number of employees in PT. X. This research aimed to find out the performance appraisal criteria and sub criteria of the junior analysts, provide the weighting for each criteria and sub criteria using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, and recommend the planning framework of performance appraisal for junior analyst using Rating-Scale method in order to conduct the office promotion. The main criteria derived from this research were attendance, working target attainment, work thoroughness, proactive, empathy, cooperation (team/organization), analytical thinking, and flexibility. The result showed the working target attainment as the most important of the criterion approximately 0.248. Moreover, the consistency ratio around 0.020. In addition, the result of this research is applicable and could be proposed for conducting performance appraisal of junior analysts at Laboratory Department of PT.X in order to perform the office promotion.

Application of six sigma and AHP in analysis of variable lead time calibration process instrumentation

Calibration of instrumentation equipment in the pharmaceutical industry is an important activity to determine the true value of a measurement. Preliminary studies indicated that occur lead-time calibration resulted in disruption of production and laboratory activities. This study aimed to analyze the causes of lead-time calibration. Several methods used in this study such as, Six Sigma in order to determine the capability process of the calibration instrumentation of equipment. Furthermore, the method of brainstorming, Pareto diagrams, and Fishbone diagrams was used to identify and analyze the problems. Then, the method of Hierarchy Analytical Process (AHP) was used to create a hierarchical structure and prioritize problems. The results showed that the value of DPMO around 40769.23 which was equivalent to the level of sigma in calibration equipment approximately 3,24σ. This indicated the need for improvements in the calibration process. Furthermore, the determination of problem-solving strategies Lead Time Calibration such as, shortens the schedule preventive maintenance, increase the number of instrument Calibrators, and train personnel. Test results on the consistency of the whole matrix of pairwise comparisons and consistency test showed the value of hierarchy the CR below 0.1.

SIX SIGMA METHOD APPROACH IN THE PREVENTION OF OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENTS ON THE SOLID WASTE COLLECTOR IN SOUTH JAKARTA

ABSTRACT 
Six Sigma method is one method of management approaches aimed at making decisions based on facts and based on the use of data using special tools and methodologies. This study deals with the methodology of Six Sigma approach in reducing the incidence of occupational accidents in the collection of solid waste in South Jakarta. The fundamental problem-solving approach is done by following the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) in order to reduce the process variation and improvement process results. Analysis of the problem also using some tools such as Pareto diagrams, Fishbone diagrams and Analytical Hierarchy Process. Research conducted at the Department of cleanliness of South Jakarta as research subjects in order to analyze and determine the cause of the problem of workplace accidents solid waste collection. Results show DPU approximately 0.22 and approximately 220000 and a target DPMO sigma level is 3.554. Moreover, the results of AHP calculation using Expert Choice software indicate the most significant factor is the method with 0.392 weights. In addition, the sub-causes of the most dominant in workplace accidents collecting solid waste, such as, lack of safety equipment around 0.833 and pleasant environment around 0.833.

The Current Status of E-waste Management Practices in DKI Jakarta


Abstract 
Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) continues to grow exponentially in the recent decades. The sale of electrical devices and electronic (EEE) has increased globally over the last decade. Consequently, the lifespan of these products becomes shorter. Initial investigation of the rate of generation and type of electrical and electronic products in the community of DKI Jakarta is the main objective of this research. Furthermore, the questionnaire was adopted and modified from UNEP were used in this study as a tool to collect data and information. Additionally, the questionnaires were distributed randomly in approximately 400 respondents in five areas in Jakarta. The results inform that generally population in Jakarta have electronic devices such as fans, phones, televisions, refrigerators, irons and air conditioning. The research also indicated that the total generation of ewaste around 6208.141 kg / year, which everyone will generate e-waste approximately 5,173 kg / year. Furthermore, this study also estimates that generate e-waste in DKI Jakarta in 2025 was approximately 124,568,613.3 kg. In addition, the majority of respondents does not dispose of used electronic equipment, however, given or sold to second-hand shops. Thus, e-waste is very hard to find in landfills. Aplikasi Analytical Hierarchy Process Pada Pemilihan Metode Analisis Zat Organik Dalam Air

Abstrak.
Air merupakan salah satu produk pangan yang dianalisis di laboratorium kimia air dan lingkungan. Salah satu parameter yang dianalisis adalah zat organik. Banyaknya sampel yang masuk tidak sebanding dengan kemampuan analisis dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan hasil uji. Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process diaplikasikan untuk mengevaluasi metode analisis yang digunakan. Alternatif metode yang diuji meliputi metode titrimetri, spektrofotometri, dan total organic carbon (TOC). Responden terdiri dari deputi manajer teknis, koordinator laboratorium, dan dua orang analis senior. Alternatif hasil yang didapat adalah metode TOC. Usulan perbaikan metode analisis berdasarkan alternatif hasil yang didapat, yaitu metode TOC dengan waktu analisis 10-15 menit serta penggunaan CRM untuk validitas hasil analisis. APPLICATION ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP): A CASE STUDY OF E-WASTE MANAGEMENT IN SURABAYA, INDONESIA


ABSTRACT
Increasing the quantity of e-waste is a concern to all stakeholders in most countries in the globe. The paper explains the method of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied with Expert Choice software to choose some variables that influence the management of electronic waste in the city of Surabaya. There are five variables contained in the management of electronic waste such as: Technology, Financial, Environmental, Social and Methods. Questionnaires carried out to select the five variables. Replication and questionnaire design was modified from the World Bank and UNEP. Questionnaires were distributed to five key informants located in the city of Surabaya. The result using Expert Choice software shows the values of the preference variables electronics waste management in the city of Surabaya i.e. Technology = 0.095, Financial = 0.251, = 0.455 Environmental, Social = 0.154, Method = 0.046. The judgments were found to be consistent, precise and justifiable with narrow marginal inconsistency values. This paper also provides a thorough sensitivity analysis to express the confidence in the drawn conclusions. Keywords: E-waste, AHP, expert choice, sensitive analysis, Surabaya.

THE APPLICATION OF GREEN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT: CASE STUDY IN ELECTRONIC WASTE INFORMAL SECTORS IN SURABAYA CITY, EAST OF JAVA-INDONESIA


ABSTRACT
The application of green supply chain initiatives in the informal sector recycles electronic waste in the city of Surabaya is the main objective of this paper. This paper also describes the factors that encourage the recycling of electronic waste informal sector to contribute to the green supply chain. Green supply chain is one of the methods that contribute to the reduction of environmental issues and can provide economic benefits to all stakeholders. Although it has been widely used in several business sectors, little is known about the green supply chain, especially in the perspective of recycling electronic waste in the city of Surabaya. Data were obtained from a questionnaire survey of the informal sector of electronics waste in Surabaya. The questionnaire has been validated and standardized by UNEP adopted and modified for this study. The results of the study provide information that the readiness of the supply chain suppliers (0.891), consumer’s persuade (0.845), the
government contribution (0.795) and the role of non-governmental organizations (0.781) have a significant relationship to green supply chain initiatives.

Redesigned chair to reduce the levels of fatigue in the weighing process in the Quality Control Department: case study on PT. ABC

Abstract 
The growth of the company that focuses on the pharmaceutical sector and medications creates an increasingly competitive competition in Indonesia. The company is expected extra work to meet the needs of the market. As a result, it encourages fatigue in the workers. There are several factors on operator fatigue, physical fatigue is roughly 69. 44%, fatigue of work motivation approximately 60.72% and fatigue due to poor ergonomic working position approximately 71.43%. This study aimed to determine the level of risk posed by the adverse ergonomic chair and work desk in the weighing room. Method of Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) was applied to analyse the problems faced by the company. The data was collected through an observation method on workers by assessing and measuring the body posture of each sample operator. The anthropometry data processing includes the average value, standard deviation, maximum and minimum values, the data uniformity test, the test of data normality, percentile values. The study found that there were approximately 71.43% operators have difficulty in concentrating, pain throughout the body approximately 85.71%, and back pain roughly 85.71%. The study also indicates that the seat has a high level of risk and moderate the level of risk on the table in the weighing department.

Ini akan mendorong kerjasama yang lebih baik antar stakeholder di kota Surabaya melalui pendekatan partisipatif. Berdasarkan aplikasi SWOT memungkinkan para stakeholder untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai potensi metode dan sarana yang terkait dengan ancaman, peluang dan merubah kelemahan menjadi kekuatan dalam kaitannya dengan pengelolaan limbah elektronika. Melalui makalah ini, rencana implementasi strategis dapat dikembangkan pada setiap stakeholder untuk peningkatan pengelolaan limbah elektronika di kota Surabaya.

The Application FMEA method in order to improve work system inAdvanced Engineering Division (AED): a case study of PT. ABC. Tangerang, Indonesia.

Abstract
Sheet metal manufacturing is the an area of specialization PT. ABC. The company operates based on consumer demand. Wall Mounting Type (WM) is one type of customer ordered. In order to achieve the company's quality objectives needed time standard of design/drawing. However, in the process encountered several constraints occasionally, such as: the process of drawing/design is complicated and required accuracy. The problem arises due to the target of fulfilment and affordability of drawing/design is unsuitable. Consequently, this led to a delay in the drawing/design. This study uses an application of the Fishbone diagrams and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Data collection was performed by direct measurement of the time drawing/design and interviews on Advanced Engineering Division (AED). The study shows several information such as: the improvements were made through the creation of Autolisp programs, modify the layout of the room and establish monitoring job. The study also showed that there was a difference in the standard time measurement results before and after the use of application Autoslip programs. The application Autoslip programs proved the working process of the drafter of 75 minutes and 35 seconds to 35 minutes and 07 seconds. Thus, the drawing/design process declined approximately 10 minutes and 33 seconds. Target achieved after the company's implementing schemes to change the layout of the room and create monitoring job.

ANALISIS KEBISINGAN TERHADAP KARYAWAN DI LINGKUNGAN KERJA PADA BEBERAPA JENIS PERUSAHAAN

ABSTRAK
Gangguan pendengaran yang disebabkan oleh kebisingan di lingkungan pekerjaan telah menjadi perhatian para peneliti. Pemerintah memberikan aturan secara jelas mengenai ambang batas mengenai kebisingan di lingkungan kerja dalam kaitannya dengan pencegahan penyakit akibat kerja. Makalah ini menganalisa paparan kebisingan kerja dan penggunaan alat pelindung diri kebisingan pada beberapa industri yang berbeda di Jakarta. Kuesioner digunakan untuk menggali informasi pada responden yang dianggap berpotensi terpapar oleh kebisingan di lingkungan kerjanya. Responden dipilih secara acak yaitu 400 orang pekerja pada 3 lingkungan industri yang berbeda seperti permesinan, industri daur ulang biji plastik, dan industri konveksi. Studi menunjukkan bahwa industri permesinan memiliki tingkat kebisingan yang lebih tinggi, yaitu sekitar 97 dB, sedangkan industry pengolahan biji plastik sekitar 92 dB dan industry konveksi sekitar 65 dB. Proporsi terbesar penggunaan APD adalah wanita yaitu sekitar 75% sementara laki-laki hanya sekitar 65%. Sedangkan
berdasarkan usia, diperoleh informasi bahwa usia responden 21-35 tahun merupakan pengguna APD terbesar yaitu sekitar 67.8% dan usia di atas 46 tahun menggunakan APD sekitar 37.2%. Para stakeholder mempunyai peranan yang cukup penting dalam upaya mereduksi potensi risiko yang dapat muncul dari paparan tingkat kebisingan pada lingkungan pekerjaan serta senantiasa memperhatikan faktor-faktor kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3) karyawan.

THE INITIAL INVESTIGATION OF HOUSEHOLD BATTERY WASTE, KNOWLEDGE, AWARENESS AND COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN SURABAYA CITY, EAST JAVA-INDONESIA

Abstract

As one part of the category of e-waste, household batteries are also considered as one of the hazardous waste in many countries because they contain heavy metals that could potentially harm human health and the environment. This paper presents the initial investigation of household battery waste in the city of Surabaya. Knowledge, awareness and community participation are also discussed. The data and information used in this study were collected by distributing questionnaires by random in 5 areas in the city of Surabaya and interviewed approximately 480 households. Research shows that other types of batteries figure out of around 57 %, about 24% of AA batteries, AAA roughly 15
% and 4 % for a 9V battery. Majority of Households, approximately 64 % know that used batteries can be a problem in the environment and human health. Households stated that the products of famous brands, cheaper prices, and advices from friends is a priority when they buy batteries. Despite their knowledge of the waste battery is fairly good, only about 31.5 % of households are willing to pay for the improvements of the electronic waste management system. However, households are willing to engage in recycling their waste batteries. Considering the a used battery waste generation continues to increase, recycling programs need to be introduced to the public for waste materials that have the potential risk to human health and the environment.
